Solar on your balcony. Braced and locked on.
Sunhitch makes the mount that holds your plug-in solar panel on a railing, a ledge or a wall. No drilling on railings, two braces underneath, and every knob locks.
Three steps.
Clamp it on
Arrives assembled and pre-set for your panel. On a railing, slide the jaw in until it clicks and turn one knob: no tools, nothing to drill, and it comes off clean when you move.
Grip any panel
Soft-padded jaws hold the edge of almost any panel: flexible sheets, folding camping panels and framed rigid panels. Tilt it in 20° steps for the best sun.
Lock it down
Braced top and bottom so wind can't lever it off, with steel pins in every joint. Lock cups cover every knob and one steel cable per side ties them together, so nobody walks off with your panel.
Works with the panels people are buying
Try it on yours.
Pick where it goes and which panel you have. Each panel is shown at its real size, with every bolt and both bottom braces. Drag to look around. To zoom, move the pointer over the house, then scroll.
One kit per panel. More panels? Take a 2-pack or 4-pack.
Every kit holds one panel at the top and bottom and comes with stainless hardware. Prices are planned for launch.

Built from UV-stable ASA engineering plastic and stainless steel, with hardened steel pins in every joint and self-locking nuts that don't shake loose.
Good to know.
Will it fit my panel?
The Standard kits fit panel edges from 1 to 42 mm and panels up to about 10 kg: flexible, folding and most framed 100–300 W panels. For big 400 W+ rigid panels, Pro Aluminum is coming soon.
Will the Ledge Kit fit my ledge?
It grips ledges 1–84 mm thick that overhang the wall below by about 8 cm or more, like most window sills, wall copings and deck caps. The clamp and its lock sit under that overhang. For a flush wall, choose the Wall Kit.
Will it fit my railing?
The railing clamp grips round top rails from about 15 to 74 mm across, square rails up to 50 mm and flat rails up to a 2×4. For wide wood caps, choose the Ledge Kit.
How long does it take to put up?
We're designing the Railing Kit to go up in about 15 minutes with no tools. Every mount arrives assembled and set to your panel, and the brace rods come cut to length.
What about storms?
The panel is held at its top and bottom edges, so wind can't lever it off one joint. Always add the included steel tether, and bring the panel in before a big storm.
Do I need a permit?
It depends on where you live and how you use your panel. Check your state and local rules, and your lease or HOA, before you install.
How does the lock work?
Each knob gets a cup that slides over it. One coated steel cable per side threads through every cup and closes with a single small padlock, so the whole kit locks with two padlocks. The knobs can't turn, and the bolts can't come out.
On a railing, a ledge and a wall.
